Damon P. Miller II, M.D. / Julie Kriegler, Ph.D.
Damon
P. Miller II, M.D. is a physician who specializes in metabolic medicine,
holistic medicine and acupuncture. He has successfully treated people
with a variety of chronic diseases and is considered an expert in the
treatment of serious eye diseases of adults and children. He attended
Yale University, graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in
the class of 1976 before attending medical school at the University of
Cincinnati. He has been a physician in the Western medical tradition since
1985. He began his post graduate studies in internal medicine in Cincinnati,
and then proceeded to a post graduate program in diagnostic radiology
at UCLA which he completed in 1990. He went on to do additional fellowship
training in Interventional Radiology / Minimally Invasive Surgery at the
University of California, Irvine, working with Larry Stuart-Deutsch, M.D.,
and eventually joined the radiology department at El Camino hospital in
Mountain View, California.
In 1995, he decided to pursue an interest in acupuncture
that dated back to his days at Yale, and enrolled in the Meiji University
branch in San Francisco. He has continued his acupuncture training with
Dr. J.R. Worsley (Classical Five Element Acupuncture), and is currently
a candidate in the Master Apprentice Program, training to teach the next
generations of practitioners.
Following a long interest in pediatrics, Dr. Miller also trained with
Julian Scott, the world's expert in Pediatric Acupuncture, and sees infants
and children as well as adults.
Adding to his existing Board Certifications in both Diagnostic Radiology
and Interventional Radiology, Dr. Miller is now also Board Certified as
a Naturopathic Physician (N.D.) He is a member of the Santa Clara County
Medical Association.
In the office of Damon P. Miller II, MD, ND, we are devoted to safe medicine that works. We use Classical Acupuncture in the Worsley Five Element Tradition, as well as other effective techniques such as microcurrent stimulation and nutritional therapies guided by testing in the scientific tradition of Orthomolecular Medicine. These techniques can treat problems such as allergy and asthma, skin problems, and even such serious problems as ADHD without the use of prescription drugs. Often we are treating conditions for which there is no conventional treatment available. There are many ills that confront mankind for which there is no drug or surgery available. In our office, We are reversing Macular Degeneration and other serious eye diseases. We are assisting with fertility, helping women to conceive, and increasing the success of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedures. We are treating a wide range of chronic diseases, bringing some relief from discomfort and pain, improving the ability to function each day, and providing for the body what is needed to heal. These natural medical therapies are integrated with the conventional therapies with pharmacology and surgery when appropriate.
